State Highway 2 closed near Tangoio, Hawke’s Bay, as roadside grass fire ignites
A grass fire has forced the closure of part of a Hawke’s Bay highway this evening.
State Highway 2 has been closed near Tangoio, north of Napier, as firefighters respond.
Motorists were warned to expect delays while traffic management is put in place.
Police asked the public to avoid the area.
