One lucky Lotto player from Auckland is $5.5 million richer after bagging tonight’s Powerball draw.

The numbers are 1, 28, 19, 34, 11 and 6. The Bonus ball is 4, and the Powerball is 5.

The winner bought their ticket at Whitcoulls in Glenfield. Their prize is made up of $5m from Powerball First Division and $500,000 from Lotto First Division.

This makes them this year’s 10th Powerball multi-millionaire and comes only a week after a New Plymouth Lotto player took home $14.3m.

Another Lotto player will be celebrating a $500,000 windfall tonight with their split of the Lotto First Division prize.

They are from Marlborough and bought their ticket on MyLotto.

Strike Four was also struck tonight, with a MyLotto player from Wellington securing a $700,000 win.

A Lotto player from Port Chalmers won Lotto First Division in Saturday night’s draw, taking home $1m.

They bought their ticket at Windsor On the Spot Express at Port Chalmers.

Last Wednesday’s Powerball First Division winner said she was left “numb” after she won a staggering $14.3 million.

What to do if you win

Ticket holders can see immediately if they have won if they purchased a ticket through MyLotto. Prizes of $1000 or less are automatically credited to the account.

For prizes exceeding $1000, winners must complete an online prize claim form.

Winners with physical tickets must still visit a Lotto retailer to claim their prize.

For the Powerball jackpot to be claimed, a ticket holder must get all six Lotto numbers correct as well as the added Powerball number.
