Police have named the pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle in Hamilton last month.
He was Jaeger Hemara, 25, of Whatawhata.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Church Rd, Pukete, about 9.45pm on September 26.
“Sadly, the pedestrian died at the scene,” police said at the time.
“Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time.”
Police said inquiries continue.
