Oasis are reportedly set to announce their next tour in a matter of days.
After their sold-out Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour last year, their first in 16 years, rumours have been rife that the band were gearing up to hit the road again, with Noel and Liam Gallagher doing little to dispel the speculation.
Now, according to the Daily Mail, the brothers are preparing to announce new tour dates next week.
A source told the newspaper: “The new tour has been in the making for some time, and now they’re ready to get going with it.
“Unlike last time, there’s not such a panic about whether Liam and Noel will get on; there isn’t the drama around it. It’s just a case of them looking forward to getting on stage.
“Oasis-mania is coming back!”
The report comes amid rumours that Oasis are gearing up to return to Knebworth – the site of their two huge concerts in 1996, about 50km north of London – for a record-breaking six shows.
There are also reports of a 12-night residency at the Etihad Stadium in their home city of Manchester.
A source previously told the Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Oasis’ schedule is booked. It’s 12 nights at the Etihad over six weeks starting in June.
“They will then play Knebworth six times over a three-week period in September. Dates could be added, but for now that’s the master plan.”
Before last year’s reunion tour, Oasis had not performed together since 2009, when Noel sensationally quit the band after a row with his brother at Paris’ Rock en Seine festival.
When the band announced their comeback dates, demand was so immense that they repeatedly extended their original run of 14 shows in Britain and Ireland, and ended up performing in North America, Asia, Australia and South America.
